No patterns, but there is art! .....and rambling

I still haven't gotten around to finishing my two WIP patterns (Ventus and the Digimon one), and I have a few more that I really want to do now that I finished watching the complete series of Girls Und Panzer (seriously, check it out!!!!). I will be writing an anime review of Girls Und Panzer within the next week or so (If I don't forget...which I probably will).

Anyway, last post I left you with a WIP of my painting of Elsa from Frozen, and it is now complete and posted up on my Deviantart page!!!! But instead of forcing you to click a link or something just to see it, I'm gonna be nice and embed it in here! (and then beg you to be my watcher on DA srsly~~ I love it when ppl comment on stuff and no one ever really does so check me out at http://www.kakashi-copycat-kun.deviantart.com I'D Really appreciate it!!!) Now that I'm done with that shameless and blatant plug, here is the finished product!

I was gonna use my shimmery paints, but I couldn't find them when I was painting it, however I found them the day after I painted her and was a little dissappointed. She still looks pretty though~~~

And now I warn you....this is another plug, but just like the one before, it comes with a pretty picture! (or several....) Now hear me out! (please???). My dream in life is to draw manga. I know its silly and unrealistic...I've heard that line many times, but I've always loved manga, and I love to draw, so it would be my dream job. Freshman year of High School, Ami and I decided to try to write a manga, she would write, and I would draw. So I came up with two characters...Who I loved. Their names were Keki and Suteki. This is the first drawing I ever did of them, almost 5 years ago.

Since then, over the years, my art style has improved and become more original, and so have the character designs, though their personalities have remained pretty constant. They've also been joined by quite a few more characters. The premise is this: Keki and Suteki are just out of College and fresh on the Culinary scene, Suteki, a rather unenthusiastic boy who is infatuated with Keki, is talked into helping her with becoming a famous Tv Chef! On the road to stardom we learn all about Suteki's rough life on the street, Keki's life as a rich man's daughter and the rivalry formed between her and her Ex-best friend, and a pair of twins torn apart by a grudge one of them won't let go. Haha I make it sound so dramatic, but I've only got about 10 pages actually drawn for the current attempt, (I tried once before 5 years ago, but the art style was so bad that when looking back it made me sick and I started over). You if you really want to go in-depth and learn more please visit my secondary Deviantart Account: http://www.keki-to-suteki.deviantart.com ! But if you just want an overview or want more info before you decide, I'm going to post what the current characters look like! And a bit about them!

Keki Usagi, an upbeat girl who comes from money, but isn't afraid to help those in need. She's kind and hard working, baking is her passion!

Suteki Neko, an unmotivated boy with exceptional intelligence. He was raised on the streets and knows a thing or two about how to survive. He's dependable and caring, despite his rather tough exterior. His passion is cooking meat and karaoke!

Ichigo Inu, a shallow rich girl who loves to shop and cosplay, she's Keki's current best friend and does her best to stick by her friend's decisions.

Mashumaro "Mashu" Byakko, an orphan boy who grew up with Suteki, rather oblivious when it comes to the kitchen, but a good kid. He's really book smart.

Orenji Tora, a tough guy who loves rock music and chilling with friends. He has a crush on Mashu ("but don't let anybody know that 'kay??"). He's very protective of the things that matter to him.

Ohashi Bara, she used to be Keki's closest friend, until a disagreement severed their bond. She's got a heart of ice and revenge is the only thing on her mind.

Naifu Bara, Ohashi's twin brother and the one who does her dirty work. He loves his sister dearly, otherwise he wouldn't put up with all this "revenge stuff". He enjoy's metal music, punk fashion, and cosplay. He's otaku to the core, but he doesn't show it.

Now that all that MEGA SPAM IN A CAN is over with. I really hope someone read this far and gives my comic a read. I've been trying so hard to get opinions on it from people who aren't related to me/don't know me personally, that way they'll be unbiased. If this was a big waste of your time I'm sorry, but thanks anyway for taking the time to read it and I'll leave you with this cute picture and call it a night!

I'll try to have a pattern by my next post!

Frozen fanart WIP and my new 3DS! (plus KH Re:Coded)

So When I went to see Frozen again with my friends, I decided to use my first paycheck from my new job to buy a 3DS, I used to have an old DS Lite, but I played that thing so much it stopped working in the 8th grade. I figured it was about time I got a new one, so I could revisit all my old Naruto games, and get the handheld Kingdom Hearts Games. At the Wal-mart where I got the DS, I was lucky enough to see Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded on the shelf, and so I picked that up too!
I really really love how it switches playing styles from fighting monsters Mario style to old school Final Fantasy, and the regular KH free roaming fighting style depending on the world you're in! Some levels are tough to get used to, but I definitely like the fact that Olympus is the Final Fantasy style world, it's always been one of my favorites, but I'm stuck fighting Cerberus with Hercules, and it's not easy! If anyone has any tips, I'm a lvl 17 almost 18 and I'd love it if you could comment some tips! Thanks in advance to anyone who answers, but if no one does, no harm done, I'll probably lvl grind to like a 30 and then take him on again!

Now that I'm done blabbering about my game, I decided to post today because I started drawing fanart from Frozen! I was in a really Princessy mood, so I sstarted sketching out Elsa. I think I'll paint this one with my shimmery watercolors to really convey the Iciness. I haven't drawn much Disney in a long time, but I really like the art and animation styles for this movie!

I don't really have anything important to say, so have a good night, and happy stitching/perlering/beingwildandcrazy/existing!

A not very interesting post, about a pattern WIP you all saw coming...oh and Happy 2014!

Happy 2014 everyone! Have you made any New Year's Resolutions? ...I haven't really other than to finish some projects and try once again to get into art school (though with my job, finding time to build a portfolio is really hard). I went and saw Frozen too btw, (and am going to see again tomorrow with a friend). Elsa is my kind of character! I hope to cosplay her too!!!! She's so awesome, and "Let it Go" was my favorite song from the movie!

Anyway, I finally started my Ventus pattern, though it's not looking quite right. I had to put Matt and Gabumon away for now, because no matter what Matt's feet were either too big, or too small proportionally...

Here's what Ventus looks like so far. I plan to stitch him on a nice pale green fabric to go along with Aqua and Terra! I think I'm going to do quite a few of these Kingdom Hearts pillows, they're just so cute and I really think they look nice (not to mention all my gamer friends are so jealous!)

I was going to do some more perlers of Missy-Tannenbaum's sprites, but my pegboards, sadly enough were melted beyond use (thanks to my sister Ami using them to make MLP headbands of unicorn horns and pony ears). That's all for this really boring and short post, I hope to have more later! See ya!
